India Just Launched Something Big in Warangal - Here's Why It Matters
Honorable Prime Minister of India had Narendra Modi India’s first operational PM MITRA Park in Telangana’s Warangal. This park was developed at the cost of over ₹1,695 crore and it is expected to attract massive investments, generates the thousands of jobs and position Warangal as a key textile hub in India. This project also brings the government’s ambitious 5F vision – Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.
This newly inaugurated the PM MITRA Park has been established across the 1,327 acres in Warangal and it can be seen as a major milestone in India’s industrial and textile expansion strategy.
During the inauguration Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the park would accelerate the India’s textile revolution while creating the large-scale employment opportunities and specially for women.
The park has been developed under the PM MITRA Scheme and it is the first among seven mega textile parks approved across the different states.
The project is expected to attract the investments worth more than ₹6,000 crore and will create over 24,400 direct jobs across the textile value chain.
