India Wins 11 Medals at the U-17 Asian Wrestling Championship 2024

Indian wrestlers ended their campaign in the Under-17 Asian Wrestling Championship 2024 with an impressive tally of 11 medals, including four gold, two silver, and five bronze. The event was held in Amman, Jordan, from 22-24 June 2024. Following the U-17 competition, the U-23 championship commenced.

The Indian women’s team dominated by securing all four gold medals:

  1. Dipanshi – Gold in 46kg
  2. Muskan – Gold in 53kg
  3. Rajnita – Gold in 61kg
  4. Mansi Lather – Gold in 69kg

Silver Medals

  1. Raja Bala – Silver in 40kg (Women)
  2. Samarth Gajanan Mhakave – Silver in 55kg (Men)

Bronze Medals by Men Wrestlers

  1. Akash – Bronze in 65kg
  2. Sachin Kumar – Bronze in 71kg
  3. Bikash Kacchap – Bronze in 48kg
  4. Tushar Tukaram Patil – Bronze in 60kg
