IndiaAI Launches Face Authentication Challenge for Exams
In a decisive step toward enhancing transparency and fairness in India’s public examination system, IndiaAI, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has launched the Face Authentication Challenge. This nationwide competition calls on startups and companies to create a secure, AI-powered facial verification system that can eliminate duplicate or fraudulent applications, helping uphold the sanctity of merit-based selections in large-scale exams. The challenge offers a prize pool of ₹2.5 crore, with applications open until 25th October 2025, and aims to foster innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence and governance.
