IndiGo Names Amitabh Kant as Non-Executive Director

IndiGo, run by InterGlobe Aviation Limited, shared the news on July 3, 2025, saying that Amitabh Kant has joined its board as a Non-Executive Director. He most recently worked as India’s G20 Sherpa, before stepping down last month.

Kant served as CEO of NITI Aayog for six years. He also held key positions like Union Secretary, Board Director of the National Highways Authority of India, and Member of India’s National Statistical Commission.
