International Day for South-South Cooperation will celebrated on September 11, 2026, as this day will help to demonstrate how countries can cooperate by exchanging knowledge, technologies, and other tangible ways. The reason why this day will be especially important this time is that, along with the celebration of the International Day for South-South Cooperation, this day will also serve as the launching point of the Global Alliance for South-South and Triangular Cooperation which will help countries in finding solutions for their problems.
On September 11, International Day for South-South Cooperation 2026 to be celebrated under the theme of “Solidarity Rising: Global Alliance for Inclusive and Innovative Development.”
This theme indicates the need for collaboration in terms of sharing knowledge and innovations to promote inclusive development. This theme also emphasizes how other countries’ successful experiences can be adopted and does not require developing something new.
