Jasprit Bumrah Reaches 500 International Wickets & Joins Elite Club

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah completed 500 wickets in international cricket. This achievement come during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 semifinal against England. The achivement come at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai when Bumrah dismissed England captain Harry Brook on the first ball of his spell.  The wicket helped Jasprit Bumrah reach the 500 international wickets milestone. And this milestone took him among India’s most successful bowlers across formats.

The Jasprit Bumrah 500 wickets milestone came during the crucial semifinal match of the T20 World Cup 2026. Jasprit Bumrah bowled the fifth over of England’s innings and gave wicket to the Indian team immediately.

This dismissal of Harry Brook was significant because it was Bumrah’s international wicket to 500. Achieving this milestone in just a decade since his debut shows the remarkable consistency of  him.

Bumrah is now among the few Indian bowlers to cross 500 international wickets. He will joining an elite group of legendary bowlers who have represented India across formats.
