JNU Tops QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024: A Landmark Achievement for India

In a momentous achievement, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has secured the top position in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, reaffirming its status as India’s premier academic institution. Moreover, there has been a commendable 16 per cent expansion in the International Research Network indicator, reflecting the volume and diversity of research partnerships within India.

Regional Recognition and Global Standing

India’s performance in the QS World University Rankings is a testament to its rising stature in the international education community. With the fifth position regionally for the number of entries within the top 200 and sixth for entries within the top 100, India continues to consolidate its position as a knowledge powerhouse on the global stage.
