Julian McMahon, Star of 'Fantastic Four', Dies at 56
Julian McMahon, a well-known actor from Australia, passed away at the age of 56 in Florida after fighting cancer. He was famous for roles in ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘Charmed’, and ‘FBI: Most Wanted’. His wife, Kelly McMahon, shared the sad news with the public, remembering him as a man full of love and life.
Julian McMahon started his journey as a model in Australia and then moved into acting. His first acting role was in the 1989 soap opera The Power, the Passion. After that, he worked in many American TV shows and films. He was well-known for playing the role of Cole Turner, a demon, in the popular show ‘Charmed’.
Later, he played Dr. Doom, a famous villain, in the Marvel’s Fantastic Four movies in 2005 and 2007. This role made him more popular around the world.
McMahon was also part of hit shows like ‘Profiler’ and ‘FBI: Most Wanted’. In films, he acted in Premonition, RED, and Paranoia. His last movie, The Surfer, was shown at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. His final TV role was in the Netflix series ‘The Residence’, where he played the Australian Prime Minister.
Kelly McMahon, his wife, gave a heartfelt statement saying that Julian passed away peacefully after bravely fighting cancer. She said he loved life, his family, friends, fans, and his work. She asked for privacy for the family and thanked people for all the good memories.
