Karnataka Postal Circle Releases Special Stamps Honoring ISRO’s Human Spaceflight Mission
Department of the Posts Karnataka Postal Circle has unveiled the commemorative postage stamps and the souvenir sheets to celebrate the achievements of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). This event was took place in the Bengaluru and it marks the tribute to India’s growing ambitions in the human spaceflight and advanced space exploration. These stamps will symbolize the inspiring journey from satellite to the human missions.
The newly released stamp beautifully depict the India’s journey in to the space exploration. From the launch of the Aryabhata satellite in 1975 to the upcomig ambitious Gaganyaan programme. This design tells about the story of the steady growth and innovation of Indian space.
The stamps also feature the elements of India’s rich scientific heritage which includes the iconic Jantar Mantar and it symbolising the country’s long-standing tradition of the astronomy and scientific inquiry.
This mixture of the history and future vision makes the stamps not just for the collectibles but it also symbols of India’s scientific evolution.
One of the most interesting the announcements was the ISRO plan to establish an Indian Space Station. This station will feature the 52-tonne modules with the first module to be targeted for launch by 2028.
