Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Celebrates Honorary Doctorate for P. Madhavankutty Varier

The senior public relations officer of Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, M.T. Ramakrishnan, stated that the honorary DSc was a recognition of the scientific pursuit made by Dr. Varier and his team in the field of Ayurveda.
Mohanan Kunnummel, the Vice-Chancellor of KUHS, commended Dr. Varier’s pioneering work, stating that it has transformed countless lives and fostered a renewed appreciation for holistic health.
Alongside Dr. Varier, two other distinguished individuals were also awarded honorary DSc degrees by KUHS. M.R. Rajagopal, popularly known as the ‘father of palliative care in India‘, and S. Somanath, the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, received the prestigious honor.
The awards were presented by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, further highlighting the significance of the occasion.
