The film will be produced in Marathi and multiple regional languages, and released on Doordarshan and OTT platforms, aiming to immortalize her legacy for a modern audience.

The announcement was made by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Chondi, the birthplace of Ahilyabai in Ahilyanagar district, highlighting the government’s plan to commemorate her tercentenary with a grand cinematic tribute. The move also underscores the state’s focus on cultural heritage and women empowerment.
