Meenesh Shah Elected as Chairman of NCDFI
The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI), the national-level apex dairy cooperative, has elected its new Board of Directors. In the elections held, Dr. Meenesh Shah was unanimously chosen as the new Chairman of the organization.
The election process was conducted by Praveen Chaudhary, IAS, the District Collector of Anand, who served as the Returning Officer. Prior to the Board elections, the NCDFI General Body had elected eight directors to the Board in an unopposed process on April 04, 2024.

NCDFI is the national-level apex dairy cooperative, registered on December 7, 1970. It operates under the provisions of the Multi State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023. The organization has 20 Regular Members, 14 Associate Members, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) as its Institutional Member.
Meenesh Shah, the newly elected Chairman of NCDFI, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. He has served as the Chairman of several prestigious institutions, including the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Mother Dairy, IDMC, Indian Immunologicals Ltd (IIL), National Cooperative Organics Ltd (NCOL), NDDB Dairy Services (NDS), Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), NDDB CALF, NDDB MRIDA, and Anandalaya.
Nominated Director from NDDB In addition to the elected directors, S. Regupathi, the Executive Director of NDDB, has been nominated as a director on the Board of NCDFI.
As the national-level apex dairy cooperative, NCDFI plays a crucial role in coordinating and supporting the dairy cooperatives across India. The organization’s leadership and strategic direction under the new Chairman, Dr. Meenesh Shah, will be crucial in shaping the future of the Indian dairy industry.
