On the occasion of the 48th Foundation Day of the Indian Civil Accounts Service, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has been honored with the Award for Best Performance in Accounts during the Financial Year 2023-24. Singh, serving as the Chief Controller of Accounts, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has demonstrated unparalleled efficiency and diligence in its accounting practices. About the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a ministerial-level agency of the Government of India, plays a pivotal role in formulating and administering rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to information dissemination, broadcasting, the press, and the cinema of India. Led by Honorable Minister Anurag Thakur, the Ministry oversees the administration of Prasar Bharati, the broadcasting arm of the Indian Government, and the Central Board of Film Certification, which regulates motion pictures broadcast in India.
