Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based “Aatamanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping (ASEEM)” digital platform has been launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The platform aims to bridge demand-supply gap of skilled workforce across sectors and to improve the information flow. The details of workers will be mapped by the portal on the basis on regions and local industry demands.
The ASEEM portal will help the skilled people in finding the sustainable livelihood opportunities. It will also help the skilled workforce in attaining the industry-relevant skills and explore emerging job opportunities especially in the post COVID era. The platform will offer employers a platform to examine the availability of skilled workforce and prepare their hiring plans.
ASEEM has been developed by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in partnership with Bengaluru-based company Betterplace. The platform will be managed by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
