NITI Aayog held Workshop on India-AU Collaboration
NITI Aayog, in partnership with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), organized a workshop in New Delhi focused on implementing the commitments from the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration (NDLD) signed at a recent G20 Conference. The workshop aimed to strengthen cooperation between India and the African Union (AU) in three key areas: inclusive growth, sustainable infrastructure, and migration management.
Dr. V K Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog: Dr. Saraswat emphasized the potential for knowledge, skills, and resource exchange between India and the AU. He called for concrete proposals in the areas of inclusive growth, sustainable infrastructure, and migration management.
Shri Sudhendu J. Sinha, Advisor, NITI Aayog: Advisor Sinha underlined the shared goals of India and the AU in achieving the objectives outlined in the NDLD.
