Noida International Airport Names Nitu Samra as Interim CEO for Transition Phase
Noida International Airport has appointed the Nitu Samra as the interim CEO after the following regulatory requirements from aviation authorities. This decision comes as the new airport moves closer to the operational readiness and reflecting the compliance with Indian aviation norms. This leadership transition will ensure the continuity aligning with the national security guidelines.
The Noida International Airport has officially announced the Nitu Samra as its interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
She was previously was serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since the October 2021.
She also brings the strong financial and administrative experience to the role.
Her appointment is also temporary and it will remain in the place until the formal CEO selection process is completed by the board.
This transition have follows the directions from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
Key Requirement
The CEO of the any airport in India must be the Indian national.
This rule have led to the restructuring of leadership at the airport and it ensure the compliance with national aviation security norms.
Christoph Schnellmann who served as the CEO since August 2020 he will not exit the organization entirely.
His New Role Will Be As
This will ensures that his expertise will remains as part of the airport’s long-term vision.
