Ojha, RP Singh Join BCCI Senior Selection Committee
In a significant reshuffle of Indian cricket’s selection leadership, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appointed Pragyan Ojha and Rudra Pratap (RP) Singh as new members of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee. The announcement was made during the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on September 28, 2025. The two former Indian cricketers will replace S Sharath and Subroto Banerjee in the Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel.
This move comes after BCCI had issued an open call for applications earlier in the month to fill two vacant posts in the five-member committee.
Ajit Agarkar, who took over as chairman in 2023, continues in the role following a contract extension earlier this year. The panel, now complete with zone-wise representation, will oversee team selections across formats and levels until 2026.
