Rewari Junction comes under the North Western Railway Zone and is situated on the busy Delhi–Ajmer–Ahmedabad railway route, making it a key stop for both passengers and goods trains.

History of Rewari Junction

Rewari Junction was founded in 1873 after the Rajputana State Railway laid a metre-gauge track from Delhi to Rewari in 1872. It became a junction when the railway line was extended to Alwar and Bandikui in 1874, and further to Jaipur and Ajmer in 1875. Over the years, the station expanded and became a major hub for both passengers and freight trains.

The station is located 82.3 km southwest of Old Delhi. It connects several major cities, including:
