The station is situated in Dharmanagar. It is owned by Indian railways and managed by the Northeast Frontier Railways under the Lumding division.

The station has 2 platforms and 4 tracks. It has an auto stand nearby for easy local travel. However, the platforms are not well-sheltered and the station lacks basic facilities like clean drinking water and proper sanitation.
