With a focus on fostering self-reliance, the ODOP program identifies, brands, and promotes one distinct product from each district. This initiative encompasses a wide array of sectors, including handlooms and handicrafts, reflecting the diverse and vibrant culture of India.
The collaborative efforts of ODOP and DAY-NRLM have led to the identification of unique products from various districts. These products hold not only exceptional quality and craftsmanship but also carry the essence of their place of origin. A primary goal of this collaboration is to drive consumers towards emporia, thereby boosting sales and increasing the visibility of SARAS (Sale of Articles of Rural Artisans Society) products. By promoting products created by rural Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and women artisans, this collaboration aims to uplift and empower these marginalized communities.
