Paytm E-commerce has undergone a significant transformation, renaming itself as Pai Platforms. Alongside this rebranding, it has acquired Bitsila, a prominent seller platform operating within the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

Name Change

Paytm E-commerce Private Limited officially becomes Pai Platforms Private Limited, following approval from the Registrar of Companies on February 8.
The company’s original incorporation under the name Paytm E-Commerce Private Limited marks its evolution into Pai Platforms.

Acquisition of Bitsila

Pai Platforms’ acquisition of Bitsila, established in 2020, solidifies its position within the ONDC ecosystem.
Bitsila, known for its full-stack omnichannel and hyperlocal commerce capabilities, supports major brands like McDonald’s and BigBasket on ONDC.

Enhanced Commerce Play

The acquisition amplifies Pai Platforms’ presence as a leading buyer platform on the ONDC network.
Bitsila’s robust capabilities enable it to oversee over 600 million product categories across 10,000+ stores in 30+ cities, spanning sectors such as grocery, food and beverages, fashion, beauty, BPC, and home decor.
