As part of the 150th‑anniversary commemoration, the Prime Minister unveiled,

  • A special ₹150 denomination coin in honour of Sardar Patel.
  • A postage stamp issued to mark the occasion.
  • These items serve as lasting mementos to celebrate Patel’s contribution to the nation.

Development Projects in Gujarat

At the same event in Kevadia, Gujarat, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects valued at ₹1,219 crore.

Key project highlights include,

  • Launch of a fleet of electric buses for sustainable transport.
  • Infrastructure development in the tourism and hospitality sector, including a hospitality district and a Bonsai Garden.

Symbolism & Legacy
