PM Modi to Inaugurate National Games in Goa in October 2023: Chief Minister

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Games in Goa in October 2023. The announcement was made after a meeting between Sawant, State Sports Minister Govind Gaude, and Indian Olympic Association chairperson PT Usha to review preparations for the event.

Inauguration Date and Venue:

According to Sawant, the inauguration ceremony is tentatively scheduled for October 23 or 24, depending on the Prime Minister’s availability. The ceremony will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, South Goa district.

Games Schedule:

The National Games will begin on the day of the inauguration and continue until November 10, 2023. The event is expected to showcase some of the best sporting talent from across the country.
