Prime Minister Modi pens song with Grammy winner Falu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has collaborated with Falu, an Indian-American Grammy Award-winning singer, for a special song aimed at promoting the benefits of millet and its potential to address global hunger. Falu, also known as Falguni Shah, along with her husband and singer Gaurav Shah, will release the song titled “Abundance of Millets.”

In recognition of the importance of millets, the year 2023 has been designated as the ‘International Year of Millets.’ India proposed this designation, which received endorsement from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Governing Bodies and the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly.
