REC Limited Wins ICAI Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting FY 2022-23
REC Limited, a prominent Maharatna Public Sector Unit and a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) under the Ministry of Power, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Plaque’ at the ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The recognition is in the ‘Financial Services Sector (Other than Banking and Insurance)’ category for the financial year 2022-23.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) bestowed the award based on rigorous evaluation criteria, including the company’s accounting practices, disclosure policies, presentation of financial statements, adherence to Indian Accounting Standards, statutory guidelines, and regulations.
This accolade follows REC’s recent achievements, including the ‘Golden Peacock Award’ for exceptional performance in risk management conferred by the Institute of Directors (IOD). Additionally, REC was honored with the ‘Best Central PSU’ Award in the Financial Services category at the Dun & Bradstreet PSU Awards 2023.
