The RuPay Prime Volleyball League (PVL) has taken a significant stride in its marketing and promotion efforts by appointing the acclaimed Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as the brand ambassador for its third season. Hrithik Roshan, renowned for his commitment to fitness and athleticism, has been chosen to represent the RuPay Prime Volleyball League in its upcoming season. His involvement is expected to draw more attention to the league, leveraging his substantial influence and appeal.
The RuPay Prime Volleyball League Season 3 is scheduled to commence on February 15, 2024, and will be telecast live on Sony Sports Network. The league, co-owned and marketed by Baseline Ventures, features nine franchises: Hyderabad Black Hawks, Ahmedabad Defenders, Kolkata Thunderbolts, Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes, Mumbai Meteors, and the new addition, Delhi Toofans.
The league has witnessed significant growth, with the second season garnering a cumulative viewership of 206 million, a substantial increase from the 133 million in Season 1. The league’s presence on social media and digital platforms has also been robust, indicating a growing interest in volleyball in India.
