Currently playing for Inter Miami, the 37-year-old Spanish legend made the announcement via a heartfelt Instagram video on September 26, 2025. Inter Miami’s final regular-season game is set for October 12, 2025, against Atlanta United, followed by a possible playoff run that could culminate in the MLS Cup Final on December 6—marking the final months of Busquets’ playing career.
