A landmark moment for associate nation cricket Sonam Yeshey of Bhutan etched his name into the history books by becoming the first bowler ever to take eight wickets in a men’s T20 International. The extraordinary feat came during the third T20I against Myanmar at Gelephu on December 29, 2025 which marking one of the most dominant bowling performances in the shortest format of the game.
Before this historic performance, the best bowling figures in men’s T20 Internationals were limited to seven wickets in an innings.
