Chandrashekhar Rao clarified that the song had not yet been officially adopted as the state song. It wasn’t until 4 February 2024 that the Revanth Reddy cabinet officially adopted “Jaya Jaya Hē Telaṅgāṇa” as the state song of Telangana, formalizing its status and significance.
