The state with the highest number of Lok Sabha seats in India is Uttar Pradesh. The state is divided into 75 districts, which are further grouped into 18 divisions. These divisions comprise a total of 80 Lok Sabha seats, 31 Rajya Sabha seats, 403 Vidhan Sabha seats, and 100 Vidhan Parishad seats. The high number of Lok Sabha seats underscores Uttar Pradesh’s significance in general elections, as it holds a substantial percentage of the total seats. Hence, it is often said that the path to national power goes through Uttar Pradesh.
