Honorable Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan has released the book called ‘Tides of Time: Bharat’s History through Murals in Parliament’. This book is authored by the Sudha Murty at Samvidhan Sadan. This book beautifully captures the India’s rich civilizational journey through the murals which are displayed in Parliament building and this book will offering the readers unique visual and historical stories of India’s past.

A Unique Blend of Art, History and Democracy

The book highlights the 124 mural panels which are installed in Parliament of India. Each of this murals are representing the different phases of the India’ss long and diverse history.  These murals are not just decorative elements but they are the powerful storytelling tools which depicts the India’s evolution from ancient modern world.

At the event Vice President Radhakrishnan emphasized that India has the deep rooted tradition of the democratic governance. He also mentioned the ancient systems like the Vaishali’s republican system in the north and the Kudavolai system of south India.
