Ten States and NCDRC Achieve Over 100% Case Disposal Rate in July 2025

In July 2025, a landmark success was recorded in India’s consumer grievance redressal system—ten States and the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) achieved disposal rates exceeding 100%, meaning they resolved more cases than were filed during the month. This reflects a robust and accelerating pace in consumer justice delivery.

July 2025 Disposal Statistics: Going Beyond 100%

NCDRC and State-by-State Performance

The Department of Consumer Affairs released critical data showing,

  1. NCDRC: 122% disposal rate
  2. Tamil Nadu: 277%
  3. Rajasthan: 214%
  4. Telangana: 158%
  5. Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand: 150% each

  7. Kerala: 122%
  8. Puducherry: 111%
