1. Free Skill Training

Selected applicants will receive total six days of free residential training, where they learn about the modern techniques, business practices, and improved production methods.

The Uttar Pradesh Government will bears the total cost of accommodation and meals during the training period.

2. ₹10,000 Toolkit Assistance

After successfully completing the training period each beneficiaries receive ₹10,000 to purchase advanced tools and equipment required for their particular profession.

3. Affordable Business Loans

Eligible artisans can also avail the concessional loans ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹10 lakh through the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board (UPKVIB) to establish or expand their businesses.

4. Improved Employment Opportunities

This scheme helps the beneficiaries to become self-reliant by increasing productivity, improving product quality, and creating better income opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have to satisfy the following conditions to apply under the scheme.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh.

Age Limit

Applicants age should be 18 years or above.

Occupation

The applicant must be engaged in one of the notified traditional trades under scheme either as a primary or as a secondary occupation.
