Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Hits Record 65 Sixes in IPL 2026, Surpasses Chris Gayle
A fifteen year old teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, as he broke the iconic record of Chris Gayle for most sixes in single edition of IPL. He achieved this milestone against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Eliminator of IPL 2026 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. He also became the youngest player to score the 600 runs in an IPL season.
The Rajasthan Royals opener has created history by smashing his 61st six of IPL 2026 and surpassed the Chris Gayle’s previous record of 59 sixes set during the 2012 season.
