Vibhor Jain Appointed CEO of ONDC, Set to Drive Digital Commerce Growth

Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has appointed Vibhor Jain as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He was serving as the acting CEO over the past year and now it will takes the full charge when ONDC is expanding its operations across the India. His leadership is expected to strengthen the company’s mission of open, inclusive and interoperable digital commerce ecosystem.

Leadership Transition at ONDC

As the Jain has successfully handled responsibilities as acting CEO after the exit of Thampy Koshy. His appointment was finalized on the basis of the work he had done earlier. Before that he was the Chief Operating Officer and played a key role to shaping the ONDC’s strategy and operations.

Understanding ONDC: India’s Open Commerce Revolution

The Open Network for Digital Commerce is the government-backed initiative which is designed to democratize e-commerce.

Unlike traditional platforms ONDC,
