However, only six countries managed to win the Men’s Hockey World Cup for at least once. Four wins in the World Cup belongs to Pakistan, while the Netherlands, Australia, and Germany have three victories each. Belgium and India have won the World Cup once.

Pakistan has won the Men’s Hockey World Cup four times in its history. Pakistan won the title in 1971, 1978, 1982 and 1994.
Pakistan became the first winner of the World Cup, which was held in Barcelona in 1971 and dominated the competition in the first stages. Its last and fourth championship was achieved in 1994 in Sydney, Australia.
