Mojtaba Khamenei has been chosen as the new Supreme Leader of Iran After the death of his father. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was dead in US-Israel strikes in 2026. This decision marks one of the most significant leadership transitions in the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1989.
