Other Notable Performances

Manu DP, a 23-year-old Indian javelin thrower competing in the same group as Chopra, secured his spot in the final by achieving a distance of 81.31 meters. While his focus was primarily on surpassing the 85-meters mark, Manu DP’s qualification reflects his commitment to personal growth and excellence. Kishore Jena, also representing India and competing in Group B, earned his place in the list of finals of 12 with an 80.55 meters throw, securing the ninth positions in the standings.
