Amit Shah Inaugurates India’s Largest Sports Complex in Ahmedabad
On 16 September 2025, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated India’s largest and most technologically advanced sports complex at Naranpura in Ahmedabad. The inauguration marks a milestone in India’s journey toward becoming a global sporting powerhouse, aligning with the government’s vision of making India a top sports nation by 2047.
Constructed at a cost of ₹825 crore, the Naranpura complex features,

Mr. Shah emphasized, “This is not only India’s largest but also the world’s most modern sports complex.”
