The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a financial incentive of ₹25,000 for couples who have a second or third child. This idea came up to as part of a new population boost policy introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly of the State CM Naidu said the scheme is designed to encourage families to have more children and maintain demographic balance.
