The remarkable achievement comes as the Banaras Hindu University has emerged winner at the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) National Moot Court Competition 2026. This competition was held at Integral University. The winning team have secured the cash prize of ₹25,000 and along with trophies and medals they marks the proud moment for the India’s on of the premier institutions.

Event Structure and Activities

The competition was conducted from the April 9 to April 11, 2026. It has the structured format which designed to test the legal acumen and the advocacy skills of participants.

On the 10th of April the preliminary and quarter-final rounds were held.

The final round have followed the intense courtroom simulations.

This cultural evening added vibrancy to the event and it also features the ghazal performances by Shailly Kapoor

The blend of academic rigor and cultural engagement made the event both competitive and enriching.

Moot court competitions is aims to simulate the real courtroom proceedings and which is allowing law students to argue the hypothetical cases before judges.
