Bharat Innovates 2026: PM Modi and Macron to Launch India-France Deep Tech Platform
Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron are set to jointly inaugurate the Bharat Innovates 2026 on June 14th 2026 at the Palais des Expositions in Nice, France. It is organized by the Ministry of Education under the Government of India and this event aims to showcase the India’s rapidly growing deep-tech and innovation ecosystem to global investors, industry leaders and research institutions. This initiative comes under the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 and it is expected to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in advanced technologies, startups, research and cross-border investments.
Bharat Innovates 2026 marks the significant step in to strengthening innovation-driven cooperation between India and France.
The event will bring together around 120 Indian innovators, around 15 higher education institutions, more than 500 investors, venture capital firms, corporate leaders and global CEOs.
By covering the sectors such as the semiconductors, biotechnology, advanced computing, healthcare, manufacturing, energy and space technology this initiative aims to connect the Indian startups and researchers with international markets and funding opportunities.
The event reflects the growing strategic partnership between India and France in the areas of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In a February 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron jointly inaugurated the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 in the Mumbai. Bharat Innovates 2026 is one of the flagship initiatives under this framework.
This event was conceived to provide a global platform for Indian startups and deep-tech innovators to connect with the international investors, universities, corporations, and policymakers.
