Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan made a significant announcement at the Defence Literature Festival, “Kalam and Kavach,” in Pune. He unveiled a groundbreaking book titled ‘Artificial Intelligence and National Security,’ marking a pivotal moment in blending India’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary national security strategies.
The festival, hosted by Army Southern Command at the prestigious RSAMI Institute, Pune, showcased a remarkable fusion of tradition and innovation in the realm of national security. Reflecting on the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War, the festival served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by India’s armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. Rajan Arya, CEO of Pentagon Press, reiterated the company’s commitment to raising awareness about national security complexities.
A key session titled ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat – Powering India’s Defence Sector’ featured industry leaders like Shri Baba Kalyani, stressing the importance of collaboration for achieving true self-reliance in defense. The discussion highlighted the need for innovation and indigenous development in strengthening India’s defense capabilities.
