Durga Ashtami, falling on April 16, sees the adoration of all nine incarnations of Goddess Durga. Nine little pots are traditionally placed, symbolizing the invocation of the nine Durga Shaktis. Ashtami Tithi begins at 12:11 pm on April 15 and ends at 1:23 pm on April 16.
Ram Navami, celebrated on April 17, holds great importance to devotees as it commemorates the birth of Lord Rama.
