Chhattisgarh Leads Big States in APAAR ID Creation for Students
Chhattisgarh has made a major stride in strengthening digital education systems by leading large states in the creation of APAAR IDs for students. As of early January 2026, the state has achieved nearly 89 per cent coverage, reflecting strong administrative coordination and timely implementation of a key national education reform aimed at creating secure digital academic identities.
Chhattisgarh has emerged as the top-performing large state in generating APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) IDs. The state has covered over 88% of enrolled students, moving rapidly towards the national deadline set by the central government.
