Dhirendra Ojha Appointed Principal Spokesperson of Government

In a significant move to strengthen the government’s communication strategy, senior Indian Information Service (IIS) officer Dhirendra K Ojha has been appointed as the principal spokesperson of the central government. Dhirendra K Ojha, a seasoned 1990-batch IIS officer, will now be the face and voice of the central government’s communications. His appointment comes with the additional responsibility of serving as the principal director general of the Press Information Bureau (PIB).
