DRDO Successfully Demonstrates Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet Technology
Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) successfully demonstrated Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet (SFDR) technology on February 3, 2026, from Odisha’s Chaandipur coast. The achievement places India in an elite global league of nations possessing this cutting-edge propulsion technology. SFDR will enable the development of long-range air-to-air missiles, significantly enhancing the Indian Air Force’s combat effectiveness and tactical superiority in future aerial warfare.
