Who has been Appointed as the Education Minister of India in 2026?

After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan on 25th July 2026, Pralhad Joshi assumed charge as the new Union Minister of Education.

Along with the Education Ministry, Pralhad Joshi has also been entrusted with the charge of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

His joining has come during the period that is very critical for the government as it has already started implementing NEP 2020, digital learning, skill development, research, and examination reforms.
