Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka to Visit India from August 24–26 to Deepen Bilateral Ties
In a key diplomatic engagement, Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka will undertake an official visit to India from August 24 to 26, 2025. The visit, announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), is expected to enhance India-Fiji bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors including governance, development, and cultural exchange.
On August 25, Prime Minister Rabuka will hold formal discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The meeting is likely to focus on strengthening collaboration in areas such as,
Prime Minister Modi will also host a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary, underlining the significance of the partnership between the two countries.
During his stay, PM Rabuka will also call on President Droupadi Murmu, reinforcing the symbolic and strategic importance of the India-Fiji relationship at the highest levels.
