First Pakistani Woman Nominated as International Cricket Umpire
Saleema Imtiaz has made history by becoming the first Pakistani woman to be nominated to the ICC International Panel of Development Umpires, according to an announcement by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday.
Imtiaz’s nomination makes her eligible to officiate in women’s bilateral international matches and ICC women’s events.
Also for the year 2024-25 in the panel of ICC development umpires from India Narayanan Janani and Vrinda Rathi also there.
